Project

AI4Democracy is an initiative by cosmonaut&kings dedicated to strengthening democratic processes through the responsible use of artificial intelligence. Together with the Baden-Württemberg-Stiftung, the project launched wahl.exe, Germany’s first political hackathon focused on countering disinformation, deepfakes and digital manipulation in the context of the federal election 2025. Nearly 100 participants from technology, politics, science and civil society gathered in Berlin for a 30-hour Politechathon to develop AI-based solutions in the fields of technology, inclusion and media literacy. The event was hosted at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the Federal Government and awarded prize funding of €15,000 per category, positioning the initiative as a visible platform for interdisciplinary, democracy-driven innovation.

For the hackathon, I created the visual framework. I developed the key visual and event branding, defined typography and color principles, and designed digital and social media assets. In addition, I created a compact visual adaptation for the wahl.exe website, ensuring a consistent look across all applications.
