Project
SGL Carbon is one of the global leaders in the development and production of carbon-based solutions. Following a strategic realignment, the company launched the stakeholder magazine “thinc” as a key communication tool to support its new brand positioning. Published twice a year in German and English with a circulation of around 10,000 copies, the magazine addresses customers, partners, employees and other stakeholders with stories on innovation, technology and collaboration. Clear, focused storytelling and a reduced visual approach reflect the company’s future-oriented direction and its new corporate design.
As Art Director at muehlhausmoers I was responsible for the visual and editorial design of the magazine. Beyond defining standard pages, each story was individually designed and visually interpreted. My work included layout development, selecting and briefing photographers and illustrators, shaping visual narratives through typography and imagery, and preparing all content for print-ready production.
